Painting
Some people enjoy drawing, even though it takes a lot of time and work, so make sure your Sims are ready for that. Once you put this skill to the test, it will depend on your creativity and how your Sim is feeling. When your Sim is feeling creative, painting will also give them more experience for each job they finish.
If your Sim painted while they were feeling a certain emotion, that emotion can also change the mood of the room where the picture is displayed. Remember this, and don’t sell all of your works right away. Painting can also be a very profitable job, but once again, your Sim will have to spend a lot of time on this hobby before they can make a lot of money from it.
DJ Mixing
The Get Together Pack makes DJ mixing possible. This is a fairly new hobby that you can start. Although it is possible to make good money with DJ Mixing, your Sim won’t start getting a lot of Simoleons until they have this skill at a higher level.
The fact that this sport is so much fun makes it one of the best ones out there. As you move through the early levels, you’ll learn basic skills that will come in handy once you reach level five, which is when the fun starts. You can also give your Sim their own helmet that looks like it came from Daft Punk.
Music
At some point, everyone wants to be a singer or artist, right? Not everyone has the talent to make beautiful music, but your Sim can make that dream come true. Teach your Sim how to play different instruments, like the guitar, piano, violin, and more.
You can give your Sim a lot of interesting job options if they like music. Anyone can start busking and play their favorite instrument, like the guitar, anywhere to make a little extra money. Townies can give you some tips. Installing the City Living DLC will give you a more realistic busking experience, as this place has a stand for busking.
If you get better at music, your Sim might even be able to write songs that you can sell to make more Simoleons. This skill can earn you a lot of money, but you need to get your music and tool of choice to level 8. Even in the virtual world of The Sims, music will always be on any list of hobbies because it is one of the most emotionally satisfying things to do.
Rocket Science
While it might not be for everyone, having this skill and pleasure can lead to one of the best job opportunities. Getting into rocket science is like going to the moon. You can give your Sims this interesting skill, and it can also be very useful in the long run.
The Space Ranger branch will let you join if you choose rocket science. This job choice might not be one of the best-paying ones in The Sims 4, but it is without a doubt the most exciting. Also, it does pay well, and there is a good chance of getting some rare and expensive items, which adds to the money possibility.
Baking
If your Sims like sweets, baking as an interest already gives them access to a huge selection of tasty treats. But what if you also knew how to run a store? Baking is a delicious way to make money right out of the oven. At first, you can help your Sim make money by selling baked goods to the nearby shop.
After getting to a higher level and unlocking a lot of baking methods, you can start the game’s bakery mode. Choose a theme, decorate the business however you like, and add necessary furniture to your Sim’s bakery. One of the most fun things to do in the game is making changes to the bakery.
Archeology
The archeology skill is another fun new hobby you can give your Sim that comes with the Jungle Adventure Game Pack. You should check out this skill if your Sim likes to go on adventures.
You can level up this skill up to a level, which means you can do a lot of fun things along the way. For instance, you can like Indiana Jones and do real historical work by digging up items in Selvadorada. The things you dig up will vary in how much they are worth, but it’s fun to do. Also, the higher your Archeology level, the more likely it is that you will be in an amateur dig spot or a full-on dig site, which also makes it more likely that you will find something unique.
Writing
Another 10-level skill and hobby for your Sim is writing. This skill will let your Sim use their imagination as a writer in a lot of fun jobs. At Level 1, Writing, your Sim can choose to write a children’s book. As they progress through the levels, they can write books in different styles, like fantasy and science fiction.
It’s also a lot of fun to level up this skill, and some of the ways you can do it may be familiar, like taking Thoughtful Showers to get ideas. You can also make a lot more money each week by writing multiple hits. Writing and sending Love Emails to another Sim is a standard way to be sweet, and everyone loves the basics.
Gardening
Once Seasons and Cottage Living are set up, you can start one of the best and most rewarding hobbies in Geometry Dash Lite. Some great things can come from gardening, like arranging flowers. Good luck with your hobby! If you have a green thumb in real life, that will make it even more fun.
You can also make a lot of money when harvest time comes around by planting certain plants. Giving your Sims the gardening skill will make you a lot of money over time if you already love gardening. It’s definitely a good hobby to have in The Sims 4.
Arts And Crafts
This is one of the most satisfying and relaxing things to do in The Sims 4. You can get it through the Cottage Living DLC. Knitting and cross-stitching give your Sim access to a lot of plans that they can use to make things that you can then sell through the in-game online shop Plopsy. However, they aren’t exactly the most lucrative hobbies for your Sim to explore.
This skill is part of the “long game” of Simoleon-making tasks, so it won’t help you get rich as quickly as other skills. That being said, this hobby will be very rewarding for someone who loves being artistic and making things.
Woodworking
Maybe this comes as a surprise, but woodworking is not only a great hobby in The Sims 4, it can also be a pretty good way for your Sim to make money. The bad thing is that developers often forget to add these skills and hobbies when they update the game, even though they are very useful. For one thing, selling handmade furniture doesn’t count toward goals or earnings in that area.
If you level up your handiness, your Sim will be able to make things all by themselves. You can allow your Sim to start making statues, which is fun and creative. If you need money, make high-quality dining tables and bathtubs—that’s where the money is.
