Captain I Reaper
When Link goes to the Great Sky Island for the first time, he will see a lot of Soldier Constructs. This is especially true if players stay there for a while and check out everything the training area has to offer. Once Link gets to the Temple of Time, he will have a large number of Soldier Construct Horns, which can be added to any weapon to make it stronger and last longer.
The first level of Soldier Construct horns are the easiest to get rid of, since the higher a Soldier Construct’s mark, the stronger its horns are when fused to other weapons. Players will want to combine and keep these things for fighting higher-level enemies like Boss Bokoblins and Hinoxes, as well as the four regions’ big bosses.
Spiky Club
Players will remember spikes from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, where they were often used as a barrier that Link could only get through when he was on fire. Link can put pieces of these spikes on his weapons in Tears of the Kingdom to give his enemies a painful death. On the Sky Islands and in the Shrines, where Link loses his weapons and armor, there are a lot of spikes.
The spike gives a stick or bat a bit more weight and can’t be beat as a one-time-use tool. This is especially true for players who don’t have any horns from Soldier Constructs, Bokoblins, or Moblins.
Boulder Hammer
Even though boulders are big, they can be joined to tools to make a makeshift hammer. The boulder will shrink down to the size of a rock, giving Link a handy way to destroy ore mines all over Hyrule and the Sky Islands. He can also use it to hit common enemies in his path.
Boulders can be harder to find than rocks. But it’s worth looking for them if you want to make a powerful tool. In Breath of the Wild, players will need it most when they hit harder rock walls that the Bomb Rune would usually be able to break.
Boko Reaper
Link will go back to the Kingdom of Hyrule after exploring the Great Sky Island. Once there, Breath of the Wild players will notice that the enemies have changed a lot and now have new, much sharper horns on their heads. When these animals are killed, their horns can be combined with other weapons to make a new tool called a Reaper.
Red Bokoblins are the most common enemy in Hyrule, and they are also the easiest to kill. So their horns are great tools that you can use over and over again.
Flame Emitter
Flame Emitters are one of the most useful Zonai Devices Link can use. Both as a tool and to get around. Flame Emitters are mostly used to move balloons. But Link can also join them to his sword and shield to make them stronger. When attached to a weapon, players can make makeshift flamethrowers to keep foes at a safe distance.
Soldier Constructs can move in a wide arc with their fused Flame Emitter guns, which Link can’t do. However, when Link is low on hearts, it helps him fight at a distance. If a Bokoblin comes at him, the Flame Emitter will burn it to a crisp. As long as it still has enough power.
Blue Boko Reaper
Like in Breath of the Wild, Blue Bokoblins are better than their red cousins. Because they are stronger and have a better defense. The horn on their head is also a step up. Because it can deal a lot of damage when joined to a weapon.
Blue Bokoblins are pretty common in the easier and more forgiving parts of Hyrule. Just like Red Bokoblins, and their horns are a great weapon to use against easy enemies. This is especially true when they are fighting a large group of their own kind or Blue Moblins and Horriblins. The fewer hearts Link has, the more dangerous a Blue Boko Reaper can be.
Elemental Sword
In Tears of the Kingdom, natural stones can be used for more than just making money. When joined to a weapon, they can also be used as a source of elemental power. Link can make his own elemental sword out of Topaz, Ruby, and Sapphire stones. Just like Wizzrobes do with their wands. This sword can send out orbs of electricity, fire, and ice to hurt the enemy.
It might not seem like a good idea to use an elemental stone on a simple enemy. But in a pinch, they can be very useful. For example, early in Penalty Kick Online game, when Link only has a few hearts and pieces of protective armor, an icy Sapphire Sword can save his life if he’s surrounded by Red and Blue Bokoblins.
The Nintendo Switch is the only way to play The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
