Apples
Apples are a resource that should never be bought. This might seem clear to more experienced Breath of the Wild players, but new players should take note. But it can be tempting for people who are just starting out. Apples are useful in Tears of the Kingdom. For example, they can be used to feed horses, heal early-game enemies, and finish the “Today’s Menu” side task.
When players meet Mubs, a shopkeeper, they will see that she sells Apples for 12 Rupees each. Since people can only sell them for 3 Rupees, it’s clear that Mubs wants to make money for herself. Apple trees can be found pretty much everywhere in Hyrule, so players should spend more time outside. It will always be free to pick these apples or find them in broken crates.
Bird Eggs
Bird eggs are a good thing to have on hand if you want to cook a range of more complicated meals. Players will need this item before they can make Pilaf, Omelets, or Crepes. Bird Eggs can be bought for 12 Rupees from Citra in Kakariko Village. But it’s also very easy to get them for free.
When exploring the many wooded areas of Hyrule, players should pay close attention to the trees around them. Birds’ nests with one or two eggs inside can often be seen at the top of the bigger trees. Players can find them more easily if they keep an eye out for the collectible sparkle that shows up on all materials.
Hylian Rice
Hylian Rice is a powerful grain that is used as the base of many dishes in the game. This flexible grain is one of the best things to have on hand if you want to pack a lot of ready-to-eat meals for a trip. With so many merchants offering Hylian Rice all over the world, it can be tempting to just buy everything up.
But since they cost 12 Rupees each in many town shops, it can be hard for early-game players to buy enough. The good news is that people can farm Hylian Rice themselves if they try hard enough. Hylian Rice sometimes drops when a sharp tool is used to cut through tall grass. Players say that Hylian Rice drops most often near the Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower, the Koto Pond, and the Hanu Pond.
Tabantha Wheat
Tabantha Wheat is another grain that can be used to make meals in Tears of the Kingdom. But this grain isn’t as common as Hylian Rice. At the moment, this grain is only sold at the General Store in Gerudo Town. And it is often only sold in small amounts. Also, it can take a few days for Tabantha Wheat to be restocked. Which can make it hard for players to get a good supply.
People who want to save time and Rupees can grow Tabantha Wheat if they know where to look. You can get this grain by cutting down tall grass in the Tabantha area, which is how it got its name. Cuho Mountain is a great place to try to find Tabantha Wheat drops because it is usually easier to find them in snowy places.
Restless Crickets
People who work hard to grow Hylian Rice and Tabantha Wheat would have expected this animal to be on the list. Restless Crickets are insects that hop around happily on the ground and can be found all over Hyrule. They are very common and very useful for making Elixirs of Stamina Recovery.
Since Restless Crickets are easy to find in the wild, it’s amazing that so many merchants bother to sell them. Players shouldn’t waste Rupees trying to buy these creatures. Instead, they should grab them when they’re cutting grass or sneak up on them in the wild. The odds are that players will have a lot of them in no time.
Chuchu Jelly
Chuchus are low-level enemies made of slime. They have been in the series for a very long time. When they are killed, they drop something that looks like jelly and can be used in many ways. Element Chuchus drop Jelly with the same elemental effect as the element they represent. This makes them very useful for joining with arrows.
In the Gerudo Desert, Chuchu Jelly can be bought from Kachoo in the Kara Kara Bazaar. But people shouldn’t feel like they have to buy it. It’s easy and common to beat Chuchus when moving across the land for any length of time. If they want a certain color of Chuchu Jelly, players can change any blue Chuchu Jelly into the color they want by throwing another Chuchu Jelly at it.
Precious Gems
During their many adventures in the game’s main mission and side quests, players have probably found a few sparkling jewel resources. In Tears of the Kingdom, it is possible to get opals, topaz, rubies, sapphires, and even diamonds.Players may even run into a trader who sells these gems for a lot of money. But getting them is likely one of the worst things you could do in the game.
Even though these valuable gems can be used to fuse and improve protection, the best thing to do with them in Eggy Car game is to sell them for money. Since it costs more to buy them from a seller than to sell them back to them, it’s bad business to throw away those Rupees. Gems can be collected from ore deposits all over the map, from foes that drop them, or from chests in Shrines.
Arrows
Since the joining feature was added to Tears of the Kingdom, Arrows have become one of the most valuable items in the game. They can be used to attack enemy camps from a safe distance and can be mixed with many different things to make special effects. Since they are sold by almost every seller, players may be tempted to just buy the Arrows they need.
But at the rate they’ll be used in the game, this is a very pricey way to do things. Instead, players should focus on all the free ways to get Arrows. By breaking open boxes and barrels, you can find loose Arrows and other useful items. When players defeat foes with arrows, they usually drop an Arrow Bundle, and they can also pick up any stray arrows that enemies shoot at them.
