Honkai: Star Rail’s Simulated Universe mode is fun and different because of how it works and how you play it. Because there are so many different Blessings, Curios, and enemies, each run is sure to go in a different direction and end in a different way.

In Honkai: Star Rail, players can make choices both inside and outside of the Simulated Universe that affect the experience inside.

Any time a player loses a fight in Simulated Universe, they risk losing all of their progress. There are some ways to keep from losing progress after a loss. For example, players can get the Laurel Crown of Planar Shifts Curio, which lets them lose one fight and still count it as a win, except when they lose to a boss.

Players should simply quit the game to make sure they don’t lose any progress during any SU run. No matter what device a player is on, if they force quit the game, their progress will be reset to the moment before they start a fight. But keep in mind that you can’t get back any pre-battle buffs or Technique Points that you paid.

Character Placement Is Important

Character Placement Is Important

Most bosses and enemies in the Simulated Universe have weapons that can hurt more than one ally. Just like characters, this type of attack is usually directed at a target with its neighboring units. So, Tanks shouldn’t be standing next to characters like Hunt or Erudition who are weak. Because it makes sense that a tanky unit would taunt or make it more likely for enemies to hit it, which would hurt the characters standing next to it.

So, this is how players should place their characters:Tank – Healer – Character with less health loss – Character with the most health loss. If you put the most vulnerable unit far away from the Taunt unit, it will be safe from the enemy’s three-target AoE hit.

The Simulated Universe Is Flexible

Honkai: Star Rail players should know that the first four characters they choose to enter a Simulated Universe are not the last ones to choose. During the SU run, there will be a few chances to use Downloaders to add more characters to their list.

Players can also change their team composition at any time, as well as their Relics, weapons, and the Trailblazer’s Path. Most importantly, players can always leave the Simulated Universe and save their progress to continue the same run later. This lets people farm for resources even if some of their gear or characters are not at the right level.

Check Enemies Lineups

Check Enemies Lineups

Before joining a Simulated Universe, one of the most important things to do is check the enemies’ lineups and get the right characters ready for the run. For example, if most of your enemies are weak to Ice, bringing people with Ice skills can be useful.

Checking out how the enemies are set up also helps players figure out which Path Resonance they should get to get around the Simulated Universe easily. Lastly, bosses and monsters like Kafka are unique and can only be beaten by certain types of characters.

Plan Your Blessings

Plan Your Blessings

The fact that you can gather a set of Blessings during a Simulated Universe run is what makes each one special and different. Every time a person wins, he or she gets three Blessings to choose from. There are seven types of Blessings: Preservation, Remembrance, Nihility, Abundance, Hunt, Destruction, and Elation. Each type of Blessing changes the Simulated Universe in a very big way. For example, Trailblazers can be more defensive by focusing on more Preservation Blessings. While focusing on more Hunt Blessings makes the team more dangerous.

Blessings can also be sorted by how rare they are, with each type of Blessing having three different rates. Most wins give players a choice between three 1-star Blessings. But there is a small chance that they will also get a 2-star Blessing. When it comes to 3-star Blessings. Most of the time they are won from Elite enemies that are hard to kill. Of course, that’s not the only way to get 3-star Blessings. Some events and Curios can give players more chances to get them.

You can also use these few extra notes to learn more about how to plan Blessings in Honkai: Star Rail. First, it’s important to make smart choices and try to combine new Blessings with the ones you already have. This makes it more likely that the Simulated Universe will be cleared. Second, don’t be afraid to Reset Blessings when all three choices are bad and can’t add anything to the Path already picked, or if players just want to stack on one type of Blessing. Lastly, some Blessings could be totally useless when you first get them, but they could be very dangerous and change the game when they were upgraded or worked together with other effects.

Enhance Your Path Resonance

Enhance Your Path Resonance

Before joining a Simulated Universe in Honkai: Star Rail, players can choose one of seven Paths to take. Each Path gives a powerful set of Resonance Formations that can only be used with that type of Blessing. Path Resonance is earned after collecting three Blessings of that Path. Resonance Formations are earned after collecting six, ten, or fourteen Blessings of the same type (Path Resonance and its Formations don’t count).

The Resonance Formation can change Funny Shooter 2 game because it makes Path Resonance from a simple skill that does damage or heals into a complicated mechanic that should be used carefully. For example, without Resonance Formations, the Abundance Path Resonance just heals. With them, it can do other things, like bring a downed character back to life, heal regularly, or remove/block debuffs.

Don’t Hesitate To Spend Herta Bonds

Don’t Hesitate To Spend Herta Bonds

Herta’s Store doesn’t have many options, but it does sell Star Rail. Which is one of the greatest things in all of Honkai. When a player clears a Simulated Universe for the first time or gets the weekly score. They get Herta Bonds, which can be spent in Herta’s Store. Players shouldn’t be afraid to spend their hard-earned Herta Bonds in that Store, since they can’t use them anywhere else. Also, players will keep getting Herta Bonds every week. So they will have to buy everything in the Store at some point.

Careful Of Bad Curio

Careful Of Bad Curio

Even though most of the Curios in Honkai: Star Rail have good effects. Players can sometimes get stuck with bad ones. This could happen if a person goes to a spider’s lair or if they choose to get 300 Cosmic Fragments and a bad Curio at the same time. For example, Curios like the Black Forest Cuckoo Clock make it likely that enemies will always attack a random friend. Some Curios, like the Perpetual Motion Cuckoo Clock, will also make it harder to save Cosmic Fragments. The Mechanical Cuckoo Clock will even make it very hard for the team to work together by taking away two Skill points at the start of every fight.

There are also Curios that are somewhere in the middle. For example, the Galactic Big Lotto gives players a chance to get an extra Curio. When they break something, but they risk losing 99% of their team’s HP if they do.

Also, players should always get the Broken Code Curio, even though it seems bad at first. They give you a disadvantage for the next three fights, which is annoying, but then they turn that disadvantage into an advantage that will help you throughout the whole Simulated Universe run. The Broken Code always shows up in a room with three baddies. So players can fix it right away and move on.

Honkai: Star Rail is now available for Android, iOS, and PC. A version for the PlayStation is in the works.
